Kamchatka Ice fishing
Tour № 33. Ice fishing in Kamchatka
This tour is meant for connoisseurs of ice-fishing. The tour comprises unique rest on three different ponds, where you'll catch the trophies, you desire, by all means.
The best time for ice-fishing is from December till April.
The ice-fishing schedule can be changed on request of the participants.
1st day.Arrival at the airport. Transfer to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Checking and preparing fishing tackles.
2nd day.Flight to the lake of Kalagyr, flight time is 30 min. Beginning of the ice fishing. Spending the night in warm wooden houses, situated near the lake.
3-4th days.Ice Fishing on the lake, out of holes. You may catch silver smelt or northern cod.
5th day.The end of the ice fishing. Flight to Petropavlovsk by helicopter. Accommodation at the recreation department at the resort area "Paratunka", rest, bathing in swimming-pools with hot thermal water.
6-7th day.In the morning driving by car to the place of fishing (20-30 km). Ice fishing on the Avacha bay at the estuaries of the Tihaya and Avacha rivers. You may catch silver smelt, northern cod, flatfish, and perch. In the evening returning to the recreation department.
8th day.Driving by car (80 km) and by snow mobile (7 km) to Nachikinskoye lake. Accommodation at the big wooden house.
9-10th day.Ice fishing on the ice of the lake. You may catch rainbow trout and char, some specimen of which are 3-4kg weight. In the evening Russian baths.
11th day.The end of the ice fishing, returning to the recreation department. Accommodation, rest, bathing in the pool with hot thermal water.
12-13th day.Reserve days in case of bad weather. This days you may go on an excursion in the city, visit museums and fish market, you may taste local food and have a rest in local entertainment establishments.
14th day.City guided tour. Purchase of souvenirs. Transfer to the airport.
The cost of the tour depends on the quantity of the participants of the group and on the schedule.
The cost includes:
1. 3 time meal a day during the whole trip.
2. Service of the guide (the whole trip).
3. Service of the cook (the whole trip).
4. Service of the interpreter (the whole trip).
5. Basic equipment.
6. Transfer service (car, helicopter, snow mobile).
7. Residence at the hotel and the recreation department.
8. Visa support and registration.
9. Payment for the licenses for fish catch.
The cost doesn't include:
1. The purchase of tipples and cigarettes.
2. The purchase of souvenirs.
Each participant should have a backpack, a slipping bag, a tourist rug, fishing-tackles, objects for personal hygiene, and bathing accessories.
