Period of realizations for heli skiing is from December till May.
One of the most entertaining extreme kinds of skiing , especially very popular nowadays is a descent of the mountain with skis. The helicopter can land any volcano, from which you are able to descend. The most popular volcanoes for downhill skiing are Avatchisky (2749m), Viljutchinsky (2173m), Zhupanovsky (2900m), Kozelsky (2189m), Mutnovsky (2323m), Gorely (1826m), Aag (2310), Arik (2300m).
This stunning tour is for those who are sure of themselves and like mountain skiing and snowboarding.
Being ascended to the summits of the volcanoes by helicopter, you can descent on their unique snow-whitened steep slopes. You'll spend unforgettable time alone with grand and impressive gigantic volcanoes. Our skillful guides will help you to choose the most interesting slopes fitting you in accordance with your level of training.
Heli skiing trips on tops Kamchatka volcanoes
The schedule may be changed on request of the participants.
1st day. Arrival at the airport. Transfer to the hotel (20kms) in Petropavlovsk - Kamchatsky. Accommodation in the double rooms. Checking and preparing of skiing tackle, rest.
2nd day. Heli skiing. Flight by helicopter to Avachinsky and Kozelsky volcanoes (20 min). Avachinsky volcano is in the center of the Avachinsky group. A magnificent view on the top of Koryak volcano standing nearby is opened from the height of the bird’s flight. Extraordinary volcanic relief amazes your imagination. From the top of Kozelsky volcano the coast of the Pacific Ocean and Avacha bay are observed. About 4 - 5 descents down the volcano slopes.
3rd day. Heli skiing. Flight by helicopter to Zhupanovsky and Dzenzur volcanoes (40 min), about 4-5 descents. Flight to the Nalychevo valley (15 min). Rest, bathing in hot springs. Spending the night in comfortable small houses.
4th day. Heli skiing. Flight to Aag, Arik, Koryaksky volcanoes (15 min). About 4-5 descents on the slopes of the volcanoes. Returning to the city, rest. Bathing in the pools with hot thermal water.
5th day. Heli skiing. Flight to the area of Vilychinsky volcano (20 min). Descents from the tops of 1000-1500 meters height in the area of Vilychinsky volcano. About 4-5 descents. Returning to the hotel.
6th day. Heli skiing. Flight to Vilyuchinsky, Mutnovsky, Gorely volcanos (25 min). About 4-5 descents. Bathing in the Vilychinsky hot springs. Returning to the recreation department, rest.
7-8th day. Reserve days in case of bad weather. These days there will be an opportunity to go on the excursion around the city and to the museums, to visit the fish market and to taste local food, to have a rest in local entertaining establishments.
9th day. Transfer to the airport. Seeing off.

The cost includes:
1. Service of the mountain guides. (the heli skiing days).

6. 10 hours of flight time of the helicopter. (it is considered only during flight)

Each participant of the tour should have ski tours outfit, subjects of personal hygiene, bathing accessories.
Additional information on the volcanoes of Kamchatka
Avacha volcano
It is a beautiful active volcano with complicated form. It has quite perfect correct cone of 2749 meter height above the sea level. The length of downhill skiing is about 7 km, with 20 -40 degree steep slopes.
Koryak volcano
It is a volcano with correct ribbed con of 3456 m height above the sea level. The glaciers go down in several places from the grand circus at the top and on the barrancas. The length of downhill skiing from the summit part is about 8 km. The slopes are 45 degree steep.
Dzenzur volcano
It is destroyed volcanic massive with the crater in the form of glacier kar. Its absolute height is 2155 m. The length of downhill skiing is about 5 km. The slopes are 25-35 degree steep.
Zhupanovsky volcano
The volcano presents a mountain range and is covered with eternal snow and ice. It consists of 4 cones - the western, the Active, the Old crater and the Eastern. The highest peak is 2958 m. The length of downhill skiing is about 10 km. The slopes are 25-35 degree steep.
Viluchinsky volcano
The volcano is considered to be extinct and presents a regular cone 2175 m high. Its top is cut off in the west and is covered with glacier. The length of downhill skiing is about 6 km. The steepness of the slopes ranges from 20 to 45 degree steep.
