My friend is a bear, my brother is a volcano!

In Kamchatka there are many volcanoes but much more bears. During the tour you will be able to learn their life closer.
You will see the Sun, rising out of the Pacific Ocean waters. You will follow the Sun from Kamchatka eastern coast to the western one. And you will see the sunset in the waters of the Sea of Okhotsk.
On Lake Kurilskoe you will watch salmon spawning run and brown bears catching salmon and of course you will observe rare birds.
On the way you will enjoy unforgettable views of Kamchatka landscapes, bathe in various hot springs of different composition and size.
1st day.Meeting at the airport, transfer to the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (25km), accommodation at a hotel, rest, walking round the city.
2nd day. Drive by off-road vehicle to the western coast (350 km). On the way visiting Apachinskie hot springs (5 hours drive), swimming and having lunch there. Afternoon drive along the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk southwards, crossing the Bolshaya and Opala rivers by ferry. Camping close to the Golygino river mouth on the seacoast. Observing the sunset into the waters of the Sea of Okhotsk.
3rd day. Drive to Pauzhetka village (150km) via Ozernovskiy village. Camping not far from the village at the Lednikovy Stream. Excursion to the geothermal power plant, swimming in hot springs.
4th day. Driving (15km), then trekking (11km) along the Ozernaya river to Lake Kurilskoe. Camping at the lakeshore. In the camp there is a Russian sauna (a banya), a WC. Observing bears from the special viewing platform.
5th day. Rest, walking, watching salmon run and bears catching salmon or feeding in tundra.
6th day. Excursion to the salmon research station. After lunch – trekking back, then driving back to Pauzhetka village. Camping for the night.
7th day. Trekking up the Pauzhetka river valley (12km) to the plateau between Koshelevsky (1853m) and Kambalny (2161m.) volcanoes. Trekking on Alpine meadows and old lava flows. Camping for the night.
8th day. Climbing the Koshelevsky volcano slope (4-5 hours), visiting Sakharny waterfall on the way.
9th day. Trekking back to Pauzhetka camp. Rest, swimming in the thermal water swimming pool.
10th day.Driving back to Paratunka resort area (30 km from the city of Petropavlovsk). Accommodation at a hotel, swimming in the thermal water swimming pool.
11th day. Visiting the fish market, buying souvenirs. Transfer to the airport (or continuation of the tour in combination with another one).
The sequence of the tour can be changed.
The tour cost - 64 000 russian rubles per person.
Extra charge for the single room accommodation - 5 000 russian rubles.
The cost of the helicopter excursion to the Valley of Geysers and the caldera of volcano “Uzon” is about 25 000 russian rubles. The excursion is paid on the day of flight. As the flight is realized only if the weather is nice.
